Title

Oceanic - Stroke: A multicenter, international, randomized, placebo controlled, double-blind, parallel group and event driven Phase 3 study for the oral FIXa inhibitor asundexian (BAY 2433334) for the prevention of ischemic stroke in male and female participants aged 18 years and older after an acute non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke for high-risk TIA.

Purpose

 

The purpose of this study is to investigate the safety and efficacy of the oral FXIa inhibitor asundexian in prevention of ischemic stroke after an acute non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke or high-risk TIA. 

Eligibility

Patients who have had an acute non-cardioembolic ischemic stroke or high-risk Transient Ischemic Attack.

Title

CREST-2: Carotid Revascularozation and Medical Management for Asymptomatic Carotid Stenosis Trial

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to test the safety and effectiveness of a novel intensive medical management treatment of asymptomatic narrowing of the internal carotid artery with aggressive medical therapy alone versus aggressive medical therapy accompanied by either surgical removal of the blockage (carotid endarterectomy) or opening up of the artery with an expandable balloon and a stent (carotid angioplasty and stunting). 

Eligibility

Patients who have narrowed carotid arteries.

ASPIRE: Anticoagulation in Intracerebral Hemorrhage (ICH) Survivors for Stroke Prevention and Recovery

Study Title: CAPTIVA: Comparison of Anti-coagulation and anti-Platelet Therapies for Intracranial Vascular Atherostenosis
